A Self Published Divine Love Story

Just Knowing Jesus / by Johnnie White

“This is a true to life story. I consider it a must reading for Moms, Dads, Youth and all persons involved with outreach on behalf of all young people.

“From the pen of one who has been there, who was brought from death to life, it is a powerful message indeed, a must reading for those who are called to reap the harvest of God.

“Indeed as it is written,” God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Bishop Monroe R. Saunders, Sr. United Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic) Baltimore, Maryland “Just Knowing Jesus-A Divine Love Story make you want to shout for joy. It reminds you that nothing is impossible with God. It is an invitation for all of us to be used by Jesus Christ to advance his kingdom. “I highly recommend that this book be read by all.” Bishop Howard Bush Pastor, Worldwide Evangelist, Radio Minister, Overseer, and former New York City school teacher.

This is a self-published book of faith and how a man down on his luck finds Jesus Christ, as his only solution to his problems. Eventhough he had grown up in a Christian Family, who were deeply involved in a pentecostal church, he himself did not know that he needed to have a personal and intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. It is clear that the end of all of life´s problems is this same Jesus that he should have known. These are just two people who I have shared the events of my book with and they were willing to say what they felt about the story.

They state that it is a book that people should read, and that it will encourage and lift you from whatever state that you find yourself in. Has it ever happened to you that your attempt to do the right thing and it results in you being arrested and charged with the crime that you tried to prevent? This is what has occurred to the main character in this book. He went into a store in answer to a passionate plea for help. This found him on the wrong side of the law, making him feel that no amount of good could make up for the injustice that was about to befall him. The act of being a good samaratian only causes him to be charged with a crime that he had nothing to do with. His very presence at the scene was only to provide aid to the person who was in trouble. Yet he are arrested, tried, convicted, and ultimately sent to the worse maximum security prison that the state has to offer.

Is this the proper reward for doing good? Now he begin to wonder if his faith in God is worth the anquish that he is suffering. He becomes so discouraged that he begins to wonder if his experience with God was it just a flash in the pan. Maybe just a fashionable thing. Was this a misplaced dedication to God. But no matter what was happening, his faith wins out in the end and he realizes that: “All things work together for good to them that love God,” as Romans 8:28 so aptly states. Only because of the Word of God is expressed in statements like this one along with other similar scriptures that he is able to endure behind those grey walls of prison.

The sequel to this book is presently in the works, “Sufferings, No Stranger,” and its sequel, “The Joy Beyond The Pain” is also in the works. It appears that there is a wealth of charaters and story lines that are vivid in my imagination.

Learning from David’s Life

David, the King / by Robert C. Hereth

What name appears throughout the Bible more than any other? David, the king. A millennium after Abraham and a millennium before Jesus, David united the 12 tribes of Israel for a brief moment of history; but more important, he emerges from the mists of ancient times as a person of God of inspiring nobility but also of base venality. In order that we may learn from David and appropriate his great truths for our own faith journey, David, the King recasts the dramatic events of his life into our own profane, secularized time.

The great stories of David posed as many questions as they did answers. How did the love/hate relationship between David and his predecessor King Saul come about? How could David endure the persecution by an increasingly manic Saul? What was it like for Jonathan to be torn between his love for his father, Saul, and his dear friend David? Why would noble David tolerate the murderous Joab? Why would David permit Amnon to get away with his cynical rape of Tamar? What happened to Abigail, David´s sweet love? What kind of God kills Bathsheba´s baby from David´s rape, then gives them Solomon? In David, the King the events of his life are set in our modern times so that we can more easily consider the greatness and failures of David´s life with and against and through God.

At the end of his life, we read in the Bible that a young woman was brought to him to warm him back to life, though not sexually. In this novel David has a surprise visit from Laurel, a granddaughter he has never met. She desperately wants to know him and learn of his life for reasons which she cannot disclose. He recounts his great story for her, a story set in the novel in the last three-quarters of the 20th century. In the course of his recounting all that happened to him, her critical need becomes apparent. In seeking to understand her grandfather´s faith journey, Laurel is launched on her own. And David, in order to help her, is once again aroused to find and put into action the qualities which made him David, the King for posterity.

In the novel Laurel finds David in the forests of the upper Midwest where he grew up in the family of Jesse, the youngest of eight sons. Before the famous encounter with the giant Goliath, there were intimations in the Bible of a brave and precocious child, one who could stand up to wild animals, who grew up to be a brave soldier. There was a secret anointing by Samuel of the lad. Also there were glimpses of early favorable contacts with King Saul–as Saul´s spear carrier and as a musician who can sooth the moody monarch. Therefore David, the King fabricates a childhood for David where he can encounter bears and lions and where dauntless courage can be developed. His preliminary involvement with King Saul and his family occurs, and the stage is set for David´s encounter with the Giant.

Saul has been employed as head of Kingdom Advertising Associates to try to pull together into a loose confederation 12 separate agencies scattered about the country. They are threatened by a powerful Eastern enemy, the Phillips Company, which–as David arrives on the scene–has challenged KAA on its home turf with The Giant. A huge, boisterous, arrogant politician, The Giant is determined to embarrass and so destroy KAA. David alone dares to face him. He leads a campaign which in effect cuts off the head of The Giant once and for all.

David, the King is a self-published book written by Robert C. Hereth that challenges us to risk the leap of faith, to find courage where it is needed, to discover we are God´s choice for our present circumstances, to learn for ourselves we are never alone, and therefore to believe we can always live with hope.

Addressing Division Among Christians

Division Among Christians: Disregarding God's / by Ronald E. Matteson

This writing is from excerpts found in the book, “Division Among Christians:Disregarding God´s Word,” by Ronald E. Matteson. Christianity was meant to be the worshiping of God, The Almighty, through Jesus Christ, by use of HEAVENLY words, Heavenly wisdom, and Heavenly understanding. Christianity has been moved from unity toward division by the influx of certain WORLDLY influences, and WORLDLY desires.

In the early days of Christianity, the movement of division was due to the actions of some Christian humans who claimed that their leader was the, (a supposed,) actual visible god almighty on earth, and that salvation could take place only in their group and only under their leader. In return for a donation to the group, there came an offering of forgiveness of all debts due to sin, (the same debts God had already forgotten about,) also appearing was an implication of, (supposed,) salvation.

Some worldly words, worldly desires, and worldly interests, of the group, caused the over-writing of some true Heavenly words from GOD’S MOUTH, and this action was defended by the word “tradition.” When some of the group’s priests were exposed to having homosexual relationships, it was possibly found necessary to soften the embarrassment by holding that the priests were tempted beyond the priest’s control, and that “the priest’s sexual actions were NOT SINFUL, in and of the priest’s behavior.” The group considers SAME GENDER sexual temptations, and acts as not sinful,(Homosexuality and Roman Catholicism, Wikipedia Encyclopedia).

The group’s conclusion is DISCRIMINATORY when they compare sexual temptation and drive found in non-homosexuals, to the sexual temptation and drive found in homosexual’s. Only God, The Almighty, the creator of humans, is able to JUSTLY COMPARE sexual, temptations, and drives, found in both the homosexual, and in the non-homosexual.

The group has concluded that homosexual temptation, and drive is much greater than non-homosexual temptation, and drive. Therefore, the homosexual’s actions are NOT sinful, but the non-homosexual’s actions are sinful. This unjust conclusion is due to worldly wisdom. The group has not relied on God’s applicable Heavenly words which denounce homosexual activity. GOD SAID, “One man must not lie with one other man, as he would lie with a woman for this is a hateful thing. Any man who does this must be CUT OFF FROM MY PEOPLE.” (PRIESTS are INCLUDED,) Leviticus 18: 22, 29.

The group’s worldly opinion concludes that God’s COMPASSION will either resolve the homosexual’s behavior, or on judgment day God will FORGIVE those displaying such homosexual actions since their acts are not sinful. Words from the MOUTH OF GOD, The Almighty, will not support any of the group’s above-mentioned conclusions. Now making an appearance are certain Bishops from various Protestant Denominations, who follow this same homosexual subject matter, and lead some of their flock down the evil path. The Bishops, more than likely, at some time in the past, have referred to the instigators as being worldly, yet the Bishops accept the instigator’s worldly view on homosexuality.

DIVISION WITHIN the various denominations is on an INCREASE, and with no end in sight. The time has arrived when certain church members are beginning to leave their present denomination, and seek a denomination which, without a doubt, follows God’s true word. Remember that one does not enter the Kingdom of God because one belongs to a given-named denomination. Jesus Christ said, “will there be any, (heavenly,) FAITH on earth when I return,” Luke 18: 8.

One, including those involved in homosexual activity, should now try to gain the necessary understanding as to believe at least some of the true heavenly words which claim that NOT ALL OF US WILL REMAIN IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD AS TO BE SAVED, Matthew 22:14; Luke 13: 23- 27; Romans 9: 27.

The more disgusting of recent events is caused by some Christian leaders who CONSPIRE, and approve of, placing known sinful sex offender priests upon the Consecrated, Holy, Altar of God´s Holy visible Church, or leaving known sex offenders on the Holy altar. “Heads of the priesthood, and the people, became unfaithful following all the shameful practices of the nations they dispersed, (including sinful sex.) They defiled the temple that God had sanctified in Jerusalem. God sent MESSENGER after messenger since God had compassion on God´s people, and on God´s HOUSE. They mocked the messengers of God, they disliked God´s WORDS, they laughed at God´s prophets, until at last the wrath of God rose so high against God´s people, there was no remedy,” (they suffered terribly,) 2 Chronicles 36: 14- 16. I charge you to obey God´s rules impartially (and never respond to sinful sex FAVORITISM,) 1 Timothy 5: 21.

The offenders want to be doctors of God´s law but they understand neither the arguments they are using nor the opinions they are upholding, (such as upholding sinful sex,) 1 Timothy 1: 5- 7. You can be certain that anyone who indulges in fornication, (sinful sex,) which is worshiping a false God, will NOT INHERIT the Kingdom of God, Ephesians 5: 5. Be careful that there is no immorality, or that any of you does not DEGRADE religion (by conspiring to allow sinful sex offenders on God’s Holy Altar,) Hebrews 12: 16.

The church will be Holy and faultless. The husband must love his own wife as he loves himself. The Body of Christ is the church and the husband and wife, as one body, are a part of the church, Ephesians 5: 21- 33. Let us adopt any custom that leads to peace for our mutual improvement. All the TRUTH about us will be brought out in the law court of Christ and each of us will get what we deserve for the things we did in our body, good or bad, 2 Corinthians 5: 10. Words from humankind must NOT conflict with GOD´S true word, Deuteronomy 4: 2; John 3: 34; John 14: 10, 24, 26; 1 Timothy 6: 13; 1 Thessalonians 5: 19- 22; 2 Peter 1: 19-21. Take great care about WHAT YOU DO AND WHAT TEACH, and in this way you will SAVE BOTH YOURSELF AND THOSE WHO LISTEN TO YOU, 1 Timothy 4: 16.
